There's a Christ of the Abyss which stands 30 feet (9 meters) down in the Atlantic in Florida's John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park! And here's the picture.
That is very interesting! Now I'm going to find out what the story is behind it...
Ooook, apparently, according to Wikipedia it all started with an Italian who decided to put a statue of Jesus in the Mediterranean and the one in Florida is the third "Christ of the Abyss". Weird....
