Aaaah....it's SO nice being in OUR home in GREEN Italy! We just got in about 15 minutes ago or so.
This journey proves how insane my father is! We left yesterday morning at about 11 a.m. (Portuguese time), then we stopped for lunch at about 2 p.m.. My dad then drove until about 6/6:30 a.m. (Spanish/French/Italian time, which is an hour ahead of Portuguese time) when he stopped to sleep for a half an hour, then continued driving again till 10 a.m. when we stopped for breakfast. From there we drove here. So he drove like 26 hours with only a half an hour sleep break! I guess when you're determined to do something, you can do anything (Oh gosh, that was so creepy! Right when I wrote "You can do anything" the song I'm listening to said that!).
Anyways, we got here safe and sound....tired, but happy =)

- I'm a 25 year old who loves to travel, serve and learn. I grew up and lived for 18 years in Italy where my parents were missionaries for 22 years. I lived for 2 years in Chicago where I completed a discipleship training school called Project 12 in the Jesus People USA Community (JPUSA) and worked for one of their homeless shelters. I then lived with my family in Portugal for a year teaching (1st, 6th, 7th grades and high school) at a small International Christian school.
I just completed my Bachelors of Arts in Education at Azusa Pacific University in California and I am in the process of becoming a missionary to China to work with children with disabilities and orphans and bring Christ's love to them.

So often we ask God "Why don't you do something about injustice and poverty in the world?" and we can hear Him say back "I did do something, I made YOU" -- A quote I heard Shane Claiborne say once and which I find strongly inspirational.
